Happy Birthday Caiden!

It is really hard to believe but Caiden is already 10!!!!  That’s a decade old!  How did that happen so fast???

Caiden has amazed us at how easy it is for him to hear a song and then pick it out on the piano without any music.  We thought he would enjoy these piano books and he has!

Caiden got a new Pokemon DS game

and the Harry Potter Lego Wii game. 

Caiden has loved Macaroni Grill for years (all for their rosemary bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar upon request) so that’s where he wanted to go for his birthday meal.  And even though their kids menu said “12 and Under” Caiden asked if he could order off the adult menu.  Ryan approved it although I’m not sure we are committing to that from here on out.  

Easton really enjoyed the spaghetti!

The restaurants’ Italian singer had the evening off so Caiden just got a treat without the song. 

When we got home we sang Happy Birthday and had Caiden’s requested birthday treat of brownies. 

Isn’t he looking so grown up?  Crazy! 

Blowing out the sparkly candles didn’t prove to be too hard for this 10 year old.  We were expecting more of a show for us and a work out from Caiden but he got them out really quick!

Caiden you are such a great boy and we are so proud of the young man that you are growing into.  We love you so much and are so grateful for the great example that you are to your brothers and sister!
