A few months back the Young Women in our ward did a service auction and we were lucky enough to be the highest bidder of a fishing trip for 3 people with our Bishop. September seemed to be the prime time for the trip so the first Saturday of the month Ryan, Caiden and Camden met our Bishop at 6 AM at Port of Edmonds for their fishing adventure! They were all so super excited about this trip!
Bishop Kimball – The boys had so much fun getting to know our bishop better!
This guy is what remained after the boys wrestled with a King Salmon for a quite sometime when a sea lion took away most of their catch. Bishop Kimball said he hasn’t seen sea lions in this area ever.
These were some of the boys catches! They had such a great time! Cam got tired and cold a couple of hours into the trip and fell asleep in the cabin for a few hours. Crazy kid!
The boys brought home a few gallon ziploc bags of already filleted salmon. We had some for dinner the next night and it sure was delicious! Way to go boys for working so hard for our meal! And on a side note, Camden has been quite brave this past year (as we’ve grown our garden) and ate quite a bit of the salmon! A big step! Easton loved it too!!!
