Leaving on a Jet Plane

Our flight to Washington went really well. The hardest part was before and after we were actually on the plane. Champ was with us on the plane although down with the luggage. That had to have been extremely freaky for him. Can you imagine getting put inside some THING where no one else is except a few other yappy animals and then take off and landing with all the turbulence in between, not knowing what in the world was happening? He looked pretty freaked out when we picked him up with our luggage. Poor dog! In addition to the dog, toting the 4 kids with all of our carry-ons through the airport was not exactly something I'd like to do super regularly. Although I think that might be in the future if we ever want to visit family and friends (anyone who'd like to come TO US is absolutely welcome - we made sure to have a guest room in our new house.) The kids thought the plane ride was pretty neat. Only Caiden and Londyn had ever been on a plane before and that was before they needed their own ticket so I don't think they remembered much.

Caiden was occupied by the PSP,
Camden had his Leapster, and Londyn had a coloring book as well as a new Princess Dress-up book. Daddy had a good time with that as well.
Easton did pretty good on the plane. He slept for just a brief little bit and was happy most of the time.
Just a cute picture of Easton from the hotel when he thought he'd put himself away in the dresser.

Thanks Shelley for the update. It's great to see the pictures of your airplane ride. I love the picture of Easton in the drawer. Very cute.
