Caiden definitely has a super competitive edge. He had his first Track & Field season this year and really wanted to do great. One meet he was on a relay with 3 other boys and they did so great! Caiden was thrilled to get first place.
The final meet of the season was the Junior Olympics. The kids got to race their best event, which was the 50 for Caiden. He didn't get the best start but still ended up taking 3rd!
Caiden was so happy! Ryan and I were really happy for him. It sure is easier having the talk on the way back to the car about how pleased he is with a race than how disappointed he is with losing. Obviously both winning and losing are part of life but it sure is great to see your kids succeed at what they try to do.

he looks so serious in that first picture I love it :>) I imagine running is a much better sport in Seattle than in Corona! Glad he's having fun. Can't believe you have a 9 year old already!!!
